Gordon and Lin can direct you to their farm at nearby Killiecrankie where you can admire their nearby cattle and sheep. The cattle are part of the original Corriemuckloch fold established in 1965.
The farm is in Glen Girnaig and guests are welcome to walk up this beautiful tranquil glen where they can see red deer, roe deer, birds of prey and wild life while admiring the Beinn a’Ghlo Mountains to the North and Ben-y-Vrackie to the East. The colours in Glen Girnaig and the Pass of Killiecrankie are truly spectacular in the autumn.
Part of the farm lies on the site of the famous Battle of Killiecrankie which was fought on July 27th 1689 where the Jacobites were led by Viscount Dundee, or Graham of Claverhouse as he was better known, who was killed in battle. His grave can be found in St Brides Kirk next to nearby Blair Castle.
